  • Aquamarine. It is a crystal made of Beryllium, the main feature is the transparency on a blue base from which the name derives. The stone is closely associated with physical well-being, joy and vitality.
  • Amethyst. One of the most precious stones of Antiquity, known by Egyptians and Romans. It is a purplish variety of quartz and its name means “not drunk”. It was believed, in fact, that it possessed calming and toning properties.
  • Carnelian. The stone is a variety of chalcedony quartz, also known and used since Antiquity: in India it is attested since the second millennium a.C. Its predominant color is red – orange, it takes its name from the red fruit of the Dogwood plant. It is associated in meaning with vital energy and the joy of living.

  • Jasper. Probable this word has Persian origin, the meaning of which can be rendered with mottled stone. It is quartz with iron compounds that give the stone particular shades, making it suitable for processing for ornamental artifacts. Its main color is brick red or even green in various shades. Stone stimulates courage and strengthens the will.
  • Garnet. It is a mineral stone of crystalline shape. Its name refers to the Latin term of the pomegranate fruit, to whose shape it refers for the analogy with the seeds. It has transparent or translucent shine and is found in various natural colors depending on the chemical composition. Among these we remember first of all the red and purple, but also the color orange, brown, pink, black and blue. It is considered a stone that protects the wearer from negative influences.
  • Tiger’s eye. It is a stone variety of quartz, with many shades from yellow to gold reminiscent of the color of the iris of the big cat. It is commonly believed that these semi-precious stones can help for prosperity and wealth.
  • Black onyx. Closes this necessarily short list of semi-precious stones by fame and popularity. It is a variety of quartz chalcedony of compact mass and microcrystalline. Weaving includes a wide range of shades of matte or semi-matte color ranging from brown red to gray to black. It is the stone par excellence of inner balance. Its name means nail or claw.
